I was about to make some chocolate chip cookies a few minutes ago, but we didn't have enough shortening. So I had to settle for the pre-made ones we had in the refrigerator, and that pack only makes 12. *sigh* Oh well, I'll be in cookie land soon enough I'm sure. :)
Why so many... I had to bake for both offices. Christmas God Help me if I ever have lots of kids and have to bake for kids and teacher and offices and friends and family too- I'd put Dad's cookie making on a run for it's money. Right!? I got a little crazy, wanting to make so many kinds of cookies. And all the recipes make a couple dzn. It ended up alot.
